The 5th International Symposium on the Basic and Application of Plasma Technology (APSPT-5) will be staged on the campus of Cheng Shiu University, located in the city of Kaohsiung in Taiwan, ROC. The series of APSPT started in Douliu in 1997, and was followed by 2^nd in Kaohsiung 2001, 3^rd in Taoyuan 2003, and 4^th in Yunlin 2005.

The purposes of this conference are to bring together scientists and engineers from academic and industrial institutions to discuss and share with colleagues the recent research and application results in plasma research and the future of plasma science and technology.

The topics for the conference include, but are not limited to:

1. Environmental application

2. Material processing

3. Pulse power technique

4. Plasma optics and devices

5. Plasma sterilization and bio-medical application

6. Thermal plasma

7. Plasma general, basics and application

8. Others

The abstract must be submitted as a PDF document through this website, with all fonts used in the document embedded in the PDF. MS-Word file (*.doc) is not acceptable.
